However, painting your kitchen cabinets is not your be-all, end-all solution at all. In fact, this is just a temporary remedy and time will definitely come when your kitchen cabinets would need repainting. This holds true even if you painted your cabinets properly and with the utmost care. At best, painted kitchen cabinets would be able to serve you well for approximately 5 years. After that, you just might need to repaint them once more. If you are out to sell your home in the market and you want to raise its value then you should consider painting your cabinets.
A word of advice before you proceed to painting kitchen cabinets though. Cabinets are the pieces of furniture that will receive the most wear in tear in the kitchen. The people in your house would certainly be opening your cabinets for a minimum of 3 times a day. Any piece of painted furniture would certainly receive its toll of chips and marks and before you know it, your painted kitchen cabinets would wear down.
